«ألا أدلكما على خير مما سألتماه؟ إذا أخذتما مضاجعكما فكبرا الله أربعا وثلاثين واحمدا الله ثلاثا وثلاثين وسبحا ثلاثا وثلاثين فإن ذلك خير لكما من خادم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Shall I not guide you both to something better than what you have asked me for? When you are about to lie down on your beds, say 'Allahu akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) thirty-four times, say 'Al-hamdu lillah' (All praise is for Allah) thirty-three times and say 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, for that is far better for you both than a servant."
