«ألا أحدثكم بأشقى الناس رجلين؟ أحيمر ثمود الذي عقر الناقة والذي يضربك يا علي على هذه حتى يبل منها هذه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Shall I not tell you about the two most wretched men among people? One is the ruddy man of Thamud who hamstrung the she-camel, and the other is the man who, O Ali, will strike you on this (head) until this (beard) is soaked with it (blood)."
