«إني ذاكر لك أمرا ولا عليك أن لا تعجلي حتى تستأمري أبويك إن الله تعالى قال: {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ - إلى قوله - عَظِيماً} »
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am going to mention a matter to you, and there is no harm upon you if you do not hasten until you have consulted your parents, for Allah Almighty has said: 'O Prophet, say to your wives' up to His words 'great' [Surah al-Ahzab: 28-29] (O Prophet, say to your wives, up to: and if you desire Allah, His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter, then indeed Allah has prepared for those of you who do good a great reward)."
