«إني بين أيديكم فرط لكم وأنا شهيد عليكم وإن موعدكم الحوض وإني والله لأنظر إلى حوضي الآن وإني قد أعطيت مفاتيح خزائن الأرض وإني والله ما أخاف عليكم أن تشركوا بعدي ولكني أخاف عليكم الدنيا أن تنافسوا فيها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, I am your forerunner (the one who will receive you at the Pond of Kawthar), and I am a witness over you. Surely, your meeting place with me is the Pond, and by Allah! I am looking at my Pond from here right now. And indeed I have been given the keys to the treasures of the earth. And by Allah! I do not fear for you that you will associate partners with Allah after me, but I do fear the world for you, that you will fall into (love and greed for) it and start competing and vying with one another."
