"إني أعطي قريشا لأتألفهم لأنهم حديثو عهد ¤ بجاهلية"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, I give Quraysh (more from the spoils of war) in order to win their hearts, because they have only recently come out of the Jahiliyyah."
