«إنما مثل صاحب القرآن كمثل صاحب الإبل المعقلة إن عاهد عليها أمسكها وإن أطلقها ذهبت»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The likeness of the companion of the Qur'an (the one who memorises it) is that of the owner of camels tied with ropes: if he keeps looking after them (and watching over them), he will keep hold of them, and if he lets them loose, they will run off."
