«إنما مثل المهجر إلى الصلاة كمثل الذي يهدي البدنة ثم الذي على أثره كالذي يهدي البقرة ثم الذي على أثره كالذي يهدي الكبش ثم الذي على أثره كالذي يهدي الدجاجة ثم الذي على أثره كالذي يهدي البيضة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The likeness of the one who goes early to the prayer is that of one who offers a camel as a sacrifice in the way of Allah; then the one who comes after him is like one who offers a cow; then the one who comes after him is like one who offers a ram; then the one who comes after him is like one who gives a hen in the way of Allah; then the one who comes after him is like one who gives a single egg in charity."
