«إن من الفطرة: المضمضة والاستنشاق والسواك وقص الشوارب وتقليم الأظفار ونتف الإبط والاستحداد وغسل البراجم والانتضاح بالماء والاختتان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, among the practices of the fitrah (natural disposition) are these: rinsing the mouth, putting water into the nose, using the miswak, trimming the moustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hair, removing the pubic hair, washing the finger joints (thoroughly), sprinkling water (on the clothes after istinja, to ward off doubts about urine), and circumcision."
