«إن من العنب خمرا وإن من التمر خمرا وإن من العسل خمرا وإن من البر خمرا وإن من الشعير خمرا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, wine is made from grapes, wine is made from dates, wine is made from honey, wine is made from wheat, and wine is made from barley."
