«إن من إجلال الله إكرام ذي الشيبة المسلم وحامل القرآن غير الغالي فيه والجافي عنه وإكرام ذي السلطان المقسط»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, part of honouring Allah Almighty is to show respect to the grey-haired Muslim, to show respect to the bearer of the Qur'an who neither goes to extremes in it nor turns away from it, and to show respect to the just ruler."
