«إن الله يوصيكم بأمهاتكم ثلاثا إن الله تعالى يوصيكم بآبائكم مرتين إن الله تعالى يوصيكم بالأقرب فالأقرب»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty enjoins you to treat your mothers well (he said this three times); indeed, Allah Almighty enjoins you to treat your fathers well (he said this twice); indeed, Allah Almighty enjoins you to treat well your closest relatives, and then those who are next closest after them."
