«إن الله تعالى حرم عليكم: عقوق الأمهات ووأد البنات ومنعا وهات وكره لكم: قيل وقال وكثرة السؤال وإضاعة المال»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty has made unlawful for you disobedience to mothers, burying daughters alive, withholding (the rights that are due) and demanding (what is not due). And He has disliked for you idle talk (qil wa qal, that is, pointless gossip), asking too many questions and wasting wealth."
