«إن الله حرم الخمر وحرم الميتة وثمنها وحرم الخنزير وثمنه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty has made wine unlawful, has made carrion and its price unlawful, and has made swine and its price unlawful as well."
