"إن الله أذن لي أن أحدث عن ديك قد مرقت رجلاه الأرض وعنقه مثنية تحت العرش وهو يقول: سبحانك ما أعظمك! ¤ فيرد عليه: لا يعلم ذلك من حلف بي كاذبا"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty has permitted me to tell about a rooster (an angel in the form of a rooster) whose feet have pierced through the depths of the earth and whose neck is bent beneath the Throne, and it is saying: 'Subhanaka ma a'zamak' ((O Allah!) Glory be to You, how immense is Your greatness!). Then it is answered (by Allah): The one who swears falsely by Me does not know this reality."
