«إن الله أخذ ذرية آدم من ظهره ثم {أَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى} ثم أفاض بهم في كفيه فقال: هؤلاء في الجنة وهؤلاء في النار فأهل الجنة ميسرون لعمل أهل الجنة وأهل النار ميسرون لعمل أهل النار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty brought forth the offspring of Adam (peace be upon him) from his back, then 'made them testify concerning themselves, asking: Am I not your Lord? They answered: Yes indeed!' [Surah al-A'raf: 172] Then He took them in His two handfuls and said: These will go to Paradise and these will go to Hell. So the people of Paradise are eased towards the deeds of the people of Paradise, and the people of Hell are eased towards the deeds of the people of Hell."
