«إن إبراهيم حرم مكة وإني حرمت ما بين لابتيها - يريد المدينة -»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) declared Makkah a sanctuary, and I have declared it (Madinah) a sanctuary between its two lava plains."
