«إن إبراهيم حرم بيت الله وأمنه وإني حرمت المدينة ما بين لابتيها لا يقلع عضاهها ولا يصاد صيدها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) made the House of Allah sacred and a place of security, and I have declared Madinah sacred between its two lava plains: its thorny trees are not to be cut and its game is not to be hunted."
