«أما بعد أيها الناس! فإن الناس يكثرون ويقل الأنصار حتى يكونوا في الناس بمنزلة الملح في الطعام فمن ولي منكم أمرا يضر فيه أحدا وينفع فيه أحدا فليقبل من محسنهم ويتجاوز عن مسيئهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"To proceed: O people, the number of people will keep increasing, but the Ansar will keep decreasing, until they become among the people like salt in food. So whoever among you is put in charge of an affair in which he is able to harm someone or benefit someone, let him accept the good from those among them (the Ansar) who do good, and overlook the faults of those among them who err."
