«اقرءوا القرآن فإنه يأتي يوم القيامة شفيعا لأصحابه، اقرءوا الزهراوين: البقرة وآل عمران فإنهما يأتيان يوم القيامة كأنهما غمامتان أو غيايتان أو كأنهما فرقان من طير صواف يحاجان عن أصحابهما، اقرءوا سورة البقرة فإن أخذها بركة وتركها حسرة ولا تستطيعها البطلة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Recite the Qur'an, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two radiant surahs, Surah al-Baqarah and Surah Al Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection these two will come as though they were two clouds, or two canopies, or two flocks of birds with outspread wings, pleading on behalf of those who recite them. Recite Surah al-Baqarah, for reciting it is a source of blessing and abandoning it is a source of regret, and the sorcerers cannot withstand it (its power)."
