Hadith 2762
(حديث مرفوع) قَالَ يَحْيَى ، وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " ،
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Asma' daughter of Abu Bakr, through another chain of transmitters.
Hadith 2761
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، وَحَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ رِوَايَةِ حَجَّاجٍ ، حَدِيثَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ خَاصَّةً ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَدِيثَ أَسْمَاءَ .
Abu Salama reported from Abu Hurairah (RA) that he narrated that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon hin) said: There is none more self-respecting than Allah, the Exalted and Glorious. There is no mention of the narration of Asma'.
Hadith 2762
وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا شَيْءَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Asma' reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: There is none more self-respecting than Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.
Hadith 2818
وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ . ح وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا ، فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدًا عَمَلُهُ " ، قَالُوا : وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ ، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ " ،
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) , reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to say: Observe moderation (in doing deeds), and if you fail to observe it perfectly, try to do as much as you can do (to live up to this ideal of moderation) and be happy for none would be able to get into Paradise because of his deeds alone. They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Allah's Messenger, not even thou? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah wraps me in His Mercy, and bear this in mind that the deed loved most by Allah is one which is done constantly even though it is insignificant.
Hadith 2840
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ اللَّيْثِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ أَقْوَامٌ أَفْئِدَتُهُمْ مِثْلُ أَفْئِدَةِ الطَّيْرِ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: There would enter Paradise people whose hearts would be like those of the hearts of birds.
Hadith 2886
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، وَالْحَسَنُ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالَ َعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي ، وقَالَ الْآخَرَانِ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أن أبا هريرة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَتَكُونُ فِتَنٌ الْقَاعِدُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ ، وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمَاشِي ، وَالْمَاشِي فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي ، مَنْ تَشَرَّفَ لَهَا تَسْتَشْرِفُهُ ، وَمَنْ وَجَدَ فِيهَا مَلْجَأً فَلْيَعُذْ بِهِ " ،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: There will be soon a period of turmoil in which the one who sits will be better than one who stands and the one who stands will be better than one who walks and the one who walks will be better than one who runs. He who would watch them will be drawn by them. So he who finds a refuge or shelter against it should make it as his resort.
Hadith 2886
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ النَّائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَقْظَانِ ، وَالْيَقْظَانُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ ، وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي ، فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مَلْجَأً أَوْ مَعَاذًا فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: There would be turmoil and the one who would sleep would be better than who would be awake and the one who would be awake would be better than one who would stand and one who would stand would be better than one who would run. So he who finds refuge or shelter should take that refuge or shelter.
Hadith 2907
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، وَأَبُو مَعْنٍ زَيْدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي مَعْنٍ قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا يَذْهَبُ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ حَتَّى تُعْبَدَ اللَّاتُ وَالْعُزَّى " ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَظُنُّ حِينَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ سورة التوبة آية 33 ، أَنَّ ذَلِكَ تَامًّا ، قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ رِيحًا طَيِّبَةً فَتَوَفَّى كُلَّ مَنْ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةِ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ ، فَيَبْقَى مَنْ لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ فَيَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى دِينِ آبَائِهِمْ " ،
'A'isha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza. I said: Allah's Messenger, I think when Allah has revealed this verse: "He it is Who has sent His Messenger with right guidance, and true religion, so that He may cause it to prevail upon all religions, though the polytheists are averse (to it)" (ix. 33), it implies that (this promise) is going to be fulfilled. Thereupon he (Allah's Apostle) (ﷺ) said: It would happen as Allah would like. Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in Him would die and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them. And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers.
Hadith 2936
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنِ الدَّجَّالِ حَدِيثًا مَا حَدَّثَهُ نَبِيٌّ قَوْمَهُ ، إِنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ ، وَإِنَّهُ يَجِيءُ مَعَهُ مِثْلُ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ ، فَالَّتِي يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا الْجَنَّةُ هِيَ النَّارُ ، وَإِنِّي أَنْذَرْتُكُمْ بِهِ كَمَا أَنْذَرَ بِهِ نُوحٌ قَوْمَهُ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: May I not inform you about the Dajjal what no Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) narrated to his people? He would be blind and he would bring along with him an Image of Paradise and Hell-Fire and what he would call as Paradise that would be Hell-Fire and I warn you as Noah warned his people.
