حدثني أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حدَّثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق الحَرْبي، حدَّثنا مصعب بن عبد الله الزُّبيري، قال: ومِن نساءِ قريش اللّاتِي صَحِبْنَ رسول الله ﷺ الشِّفاءُ بنت عبد الله، وهي أمُّ سليمان بن أبي حَثْمة القرشي، وجدَّةُ أبي بكر بن سليمان بن أبي حَثْمةَ.
It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah al-Zubayri that among the women of Quraysh who were honoured with the companionship of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is Sayyidah al-Shifa' bint Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with her). She was the mother of Sulayman bin Abi Hathmah al-Qurashi and the grandmother of Abu Bakr bin Sulayman bin Abi Hathmah.
حدَّثنا أبو عبد الله الأصبهاني، حدَّثنا الحسن بن الجَهْم، حدَّثنا الحسين بن الفَرَج، حدَّثنا محمد بن عمر قال: والشِّفاءُ بنت عبد الله أسلمت قبلَ الفتح، وبايعت رسولَ الله.
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Umar (al-Waqidi) that Sayyidah al-Shifa' bint Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with her) accepted Islam before the Conquest of Makkah and pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
