ذِكْرُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ ابْنِ سَلُولَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ الْمُؤْمِنِ ابْنِ الْمُنَافِقِ

أخبرنا أبو جعفر البغدادي، حدثنا أبو عُلَاثة، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا ابن لَهيعة، حدثنا أبو الأسوَد (1)، عن عُرْوة، في تسميَةِ من شَهِدَ بدرًا مع رسول الله ﷺ من الأنصار من بني الخَزرَج: عبدُ الله بنُ عبدِ الله بن أُبيٍّ ابنِ سَلُولَ، قال عُرْوة: وهو عبد الله بن عبد الله بن أُبيِّ بن مالك بن سالم بن غَنْم (2) بن عَوْف بن الخَزْرَج.
It is narrated from Urwah, in his listing of the names of those Companions from the Ansar, of the tribe of Banu Khazraj, who took part in the Battle of Badr with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that among them was Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul (may Allah be pleased with him). Urwah says: His full lineage is Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Malik bin Salim bin Ghanm bin Awf bin al-Khazraj.
حدثني أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق الحَرْبي، حدثنا مُصعَب بن عبد الله الزُّبَيري قال: استُشهِدَ عبدُ الله بن عبد الله بن أُبيٍّ ابنِ سَلُولَ يومَ اليمامةِ سنة اثنتي عشرة.
It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah al-Zubayri that he said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred on the day of the Battle of Yamamah in the year 12 AH.
