حدثنا أبو بكر أحمد بن سلمان الفقيه، حدثنا الحسن بن مُكرَم، حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا حماد بن سَلَمة، عن ثابت عن مُطرِّف، عن أبيه قال: رأيتُ رسول الله ﷺ يُصلِّي وفي صدرِه أَزِيزٌ كأزيزِ المِرجَلِ من البكاء (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

Mutarrif bin Abdullah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Shikhkhir, may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying, and from his blessed chest, because of weeping, there came a sound like the sound of a boiling pot.
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(1) إسناده صحيح ثابت: هو ابن أسلم البُناني، ومطرِّف: هو ابن عبد الله بن الشِّخِّير.
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih.
Technical note: Thabit is al-Bunani, and Mutarrif is Ibn Abd Allah bin al-Shikhkhir.
وأخرجه أحمد 26/ (16312)، وأبو داود (904)، وابن حبان (753) من طريق يزيد بن هارون، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (26/16312), Abu Dawud (904) and Ibn Hibban (753) narrated it via Yazid bin Harun, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد (16317) و (16326)، والنسائي (549) و (1136) و (11799)، وابن حبان (665) من طرق عن حماد بن سلمة، به.
