It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make this supplication in his prostrations: 'Allahumma-ghfir li dhanbi kullahu, jillahu wa diqqahu, awwalahu wa akhirahu, 'alaniyatahu wa sirrahu' (O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the great and the small, the first and the last, those that were open and those that remained hidden).
This hadith is sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it, whereas they recorded another hadith with this same chain, whose words are: "The servant is nearest to his Lord when he is in prostration."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) The chain is "hasan" on account of Yahya bin Ayyub (al-Ghafiqi). Reference / Source: Muslim (483) and Abu Dawud (878) narrated it via Abu al-Tahir Ibn al-Sarh, with this same chain. Yunus bin Abd al-A'la and Ahmad bin Salih also corroborated him, so al-Hakim's inclusion of it as a supplement (istidrak) was an oversight on his part. Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (1931) narrated it via the chain of Yunus bin Abd al-A'la from Ibn Wahb.
(482). Reference / Source: (3) Rather, only Imam Muslim narrated it, at number (482).
