حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحْر بن نَصْر الخَوْلاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، عن يزيد بن أبي حَبيب، عن سِنان بن سعد، عن أنس بن مالك، عن النبي ﷺ قال: "المَكرُ والخديعةُ والخِيانةُ في النار" (3).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Scheming, deception and betrayal are in the Fire."

(3) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل سنان بن سعد، فإنه صالح للاعتبار. وأخرجه ابن عدي في "الكامل" 3/ 357 من طريق يزيد بن موهب، عن عبد الله بن وهب، بهذا الإسناد. وقرن بعمرو بن الحارث عبدَ الله بن لهيعة.
Grading: (3) It is sahih li-ghayrihi (sahih by virtue of supporting reports), and this chain is "hasan" in corroborating chains and supporting reports on account of Sinan bin Sa'd, for he is fit to be taken into consideration.
Reference / Source: Ibn 'Adi narrated it in "al-Kamil" 3/ 357 by way of Yazid bin Mawhab, from 'Abd Allah bin Wahb, with this chain. And (there) 'Abd Allah bin Lahi'ah is paired with 'Amr bin al-Harith.
ويشهد له حديث ابن مسعود عند ابن حبان (567) و (5559). وإسناده حسن.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is supported (as a shahid) by the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud with Ibn Hibban (567) and (5559), and its chain is hasan.
وحديث قيس بن سعد عند ابن عدي 2/ 161، والبيهقي في "الشعب" (4887) و (10595). قال الحافظ ابن حجر في "فتح الباري" بتحقيقنا 7/ 138: إسناده لا بأس به.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: And by the hadith of Qays bin Sa'd with Ibn 'Adi 2/ 161 and al-Bayhaqi in "al-Shu'ab" (4887) and (10595). Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said in "Fath al-Bari" (our edition, 7/ 138): There is no harm in its chain.
وحديث أبي هريرة عند إسحاق بن راهويه في "مسنده" (381)، والبزار (9517)، وابن عدي 4/ 326 و 6/ 72، وأبي نعيم في "أخبار أصبهان" 1/ 209، والبيهقي في "الشعب" (6581)، بأسانيد ضعيفة.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: And by the hadith of Abu Hurayrah with Ishaq bin Rahawayh in his "Musnad" (381), al-Bazzar (9517), Ibn 'Adi 4/ 326 and 6/ 72, Abu Nu'aym in "Akhbar Asbahan" 1/ 209, and al-Bayhaqi in "al-Shu'ab" (6581), with weak chains.
وحديث الحسن البصري مرسلًا عند أبي داود في "المراسيل" (165)، ورجاله ثقات.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: And by the "mursal" hadith of al-Hasan al-Basri with Abu Dawud in "al-Marasil" (165), and its narrators are trustworthy.
وعلَّقه البخاري في "صحيحه" بين يدي الحديث (2142) بلا إسناد بلفظ: "الخديعة في النار".
Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari cited it in his "Sahih" without a chain (mu'allaq), before hadith (2142), with the wording: "الْخَدِيعَةُ فِي النَّارِ" (Deception is in the Fire).
