حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحْر بن نَصْر، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، عن [سعيد بن] (2) أبي هلال، عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد المَقبُري، أنه سمع أبا هريرة يقول: إِنَّ ضِرسَ الكافر يومَ القيامة مثلُ أحد، ورأسه مثلُ البَيضاء، وفَخِذَه مثلُ وَرِقانَ، وغِلَظَ جلدِه سبعون ذراعًا، وإنَّ مجلسَه في النار كما بينَ المدينةِ والرَّبَذة. قال أبو هريرة: وكان يقال: بطنُه مثلُ بطن إضَمٍ (3). هذا إسناد صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يُخرجاه لتوقيفه على أبي هريرة ﵁.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "On the Day of Resurrection the molar tooth of the disbeliever will be like (Mount) Uhud, his head will be like (Mount) Bayda', his thigh will be like (Mount) Wariqan, the thickness of his skin will be seventy cubits, and his seat in Hell will be equal to the distance between Madinah and al-Rabadhah." Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: And it used to be said: "His belly will be the size of (the valley of) Idam."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it because it stops at Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) (mawquf).

(2) ما بين المعقوفين سقط من النسخ الخطية، والصواب إثباته، فإنه ليس في هذه الطبقة من في اسمه هلال غير سعيد بن أبي هلال، وعمرو بن الحارث معروف بالرواية عنه.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): (2) The text between the square brackets had dropped out of the manuscripts, and the correct course is to include it, for in this generation there is no one with "Hilal" in his name other than Sa'id bin Abi Hilal, and 'Amr bin al-Harith is well known for narrating from him.
(3) إسناده صحيح.
Grading: (3) Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه ابن المبارك في "الزهد" برواية نعيم بن حماد (304) عن الليث بن سعد، عن خالد ابن يزيد، عن سعيد بن أبي هلال به.
Reference / Source: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated it in "al-Zuhd" in the recension of Nu'aym bin Hammad (304) from al-Layth bin Sa'd, from Khalid bin Yazid, from Sa'id bin Abi Hilal, with it.
وسلف قريبًا برقم (8974) من طريق عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق عن سعيد المقبري مرفوعًا دون قول أبي هريرة في آخره: وكان يقال …
Reference / Source: It passed shortly before at number (8974) by way of 'Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq from Sa'id al-Maqburi as marfu', without Abu Hurayrah's saying at its end: "And it used to be said …"
وإضم: موضع شمال المدينة يقع خلف جبل أحد، وهو مجتمع أودية المدينة. انظر "الأماكن" للحازمي 1/ 77 بتحقيق حمد الجاسر.
Note / Clarification: "Idam": a place north of Madinah behind Mount Uhud, and it is the meeting point of the valleys of Madinah. See al-Hazimi's "al-Amakin" 1/ 77 (edited by Hamad al-Jasir).
