It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) was struck by an arrow in his akhal vein (a vein of the arm), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a physician to him, who cauterized it (to stop the bleeding).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "qawi" because of Abu Sufyan Talhah bin Nafi'. (Identification of the narrators): Abu Ishaq al-Fazari is Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin al-Harith, and al-A'mash is Sulayman bin Mihran. Note / Clarification: This hadith has passed at number (7684) through two other routes from al-A'mash. Important point: This hadith is in Muslim's "Sahih", so al-Hakim's adding it as a supplement (istidrak) is an "oversight" (lapse) on his part.
