It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every person has in his head some veins of leprosy which stir; when they become agitated, Allah Almighty sends a cold (catarrh) upon him, so do not treat the cold."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts this is corrupted into "al-Sulami". Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned him in Reference / Source: "al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil" 2/ 355 and said: "There is no harm in him; I wrote from him, and he was saduq."
Grading: Its chain is "wah" (very feeble). Technical note / Defect ('illah): Muhammad bin Yunus al-Qurashi (who is al-Kudaymi) is very weak, and some accused him of lying; al-Dhahabi declared it defective because of him in "al-Talkhis", saying: "It seems to be fabricated, and al-Kudaymi is accused." Important point: We say: he is the defect of the chain, and it also contains Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is weak. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Al-Sam'ani recorded it in "Mu'jam Shuyukhihi" pp. 297-298, and Ibn al-Jawzi in "al-Mawdu'at" (1714), through two routes from Muhammad bin Yunus, with this chain. Note / Clarification: And Ibn Abbas (his name) has dropped out of Ibn al-Jawzi's chain.
