حَدَّثَنَا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الزاهد الأصبهاني، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن يونس الضَّبِّي، حَدَّثَنَا مصعب بن المِقْدام، حَدَّثَنَا سفيان. وأخبرنا أبو العباس محمد بن أحمد المحبُوبيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن سيَّار، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن كثير، حَدَّثَنَا سفيان، عن عطاء بن السائب، عن أبي عبد الرحمن السُّلمي، عن عبد الله بن مسعود قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إِنَّ الله ﷿ لم يُنزِل داءً إِلَّا وأنزل له شِفاءً، عَلِمَه من عَلِمَه، وجَهِلَه مَن جَهِلَه" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه. والأصلُ في هذا الباب حديث أسامة بن شَريك الذي علَّلاه الشيخان ﵄ بأنهما لم يَجِدَا له راويًا عن أسامة بن شريك غيرَ زياد بن عِلاقة:

هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه. والأصلُ في هذا الباب حديث أسامة بن شَريك الذي علَّلاه الشيخان ﵄ بأنهما لم يَجِدَا له راويًا عن أسامة بن شريك غيرَ زياد بن عِلاقة:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has not sent down any disease without sending down a cure for it. Whoever knows it, knows it; and whoever is ignorant of it, remains ignorant of it."
This hadith has an authentic (sahih) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده صحيح، أبو عبد الرحمن السلمي - وهو عبد الله بن حبيب - صحيح السماع من ابن مسعود، وعطاء بن السائب سماع سفيان منه - وهو الثوري - قبل الاختلاط. محمد بن كثير: هو العبدي.
Grading: (2) Its chain is sahih. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami (Abd Allah bin Habib) authentically heard from Ibn Mas'ud. Sufyan (al-Thawri) heard from Ata' bin al-Sa'ib before his memory became confused (ikhtilat). Muhammad bin Kathir is "al-Abdi".
وأخرجه أحمد 7/ (3912) و (4236)، وابن ماجه (3438) من طرق عن سفيان الثوري، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (7/3912, 4236) and Ibn Majah (3438) narrated it via various routes from Sufyan al-Thawri with this same chain.
وسلف الحديث برقم (7612) من طريق عبيدة بن حميد عن عطاء بن السائب.
Important point: This hadith has already passed under no. (7612) via Ubaydah bin Humayd from Ata' bin al-Sa'ib.
