أخبرَناه عبد الله بن محمد الصَّيدَلاني، حدثنا محمد بن أيوب، أخبرنا إبراهيم بن موسى، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد، حدثنا عمرو بن يحيى بن عُمَارة، عن أبيه، عن أبي سعيد الخُدْري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "الأرضُ كلُّها مسجدٌ إلّا الحمَّامَ والمَقبُرةَ" (2). وقد تابع عُمارة بن غَزِيَّةَ عمرو بنَ يحيى على روايته عن أبيه يحيى بن عُمَارة:

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The whole earth is a mosque except the bathhouse and the graveyard."

(2) إسناده قوي من أجل عبد العزيز بن محمد: وهو الدَّراوَرْدي. إبراهيم بن موسى: هو ابن يزيد التميمي أبو إسحاق الفرّاء الرازي، ومحمد بن أيوب: هو ابن الضُّرَيس.
Grading: (2) This chain is strong (qawi) on account of Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad al-Darawardi.
Technical note: Ibrahim bin Musa refers to "Abu Ishaq al-Farra' al-Razi", and Muhammad bin Ayyub refers to "Ibn al-Durays".
وأخرجه الترمذي (317) من طريقين عن عبد العزيز بن محمد، بهذا الإسناد. وأعلَّه بالاضطراب ورجَّح رواية سفيان الثوري المرسلة التي أشرنا إليها في تخريج الحديث السابق، لكن الصواب رواية غيره المتصلة، والله تعالى أعلم.
Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (317) narrated it by two routes from Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Imam al-Tirmidhi declared it defective due to "idtirab" (inconsistency) and preferred the "mursal" narration of Sufyan al-Thawri, but the correct view is that the "connected" (mawsul) narration of the other narrators is the sound one.
