حدَّثنا أبو الحسن محمد بن علي بن بكرٍ العَدْلُ، حدَّثنا الحسين بن الفضل، حدَّثنا عفّان بن مسلم، حدَّثنا عبد الواحد بن زياد، حدَّثنا المختار بن فُلْفُل، حدَّثنا أنس مالك قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إنَّ الرسالةَ والنبوَّةَ قد انقَطَعَت، فلا رسولَ بعدي ولا نبيَّ"، قال: فشَقَّ ذلك على الناس، فقال: "لكن المُبشِّراتُ" قالوا: يا رسول الله، ما المبشِّرات؟ قال: "رُؤْيا المَرْء المسلم، وهي جزءٌ من أجزاء النبوَّة" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, messengership and prophethood have come to an end, so there will be no messenger and no prophet after me." The narrator said: This weighed heavily upon the people, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "But the mubashshirat (glad tidings) remain." The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, what are the mubashshirat? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The dream of a Muslim man, and it is one of the parts of prophethood."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه أحمد 21/ (13824)، والترمذي (2272) من طريق عفان، بهذا الإسناد. وقال الترمذي: حديث حسن صحيح.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (21/13824) and al-Tirmidhi (2272) narrated it via Affan with this same chain. Grading: Al-Tirmidhi said: this hadith is "hasan sahih".
وأخرج آخره أحمد 19/ (12037) من طريق حميد، وأحمد (12272)، والبخاري (6983)، وابن ماجه (3893)، والنسائي (7577)، وابن حبان (6043) من طريق إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة، وأحمد 21/ (13849)، والبخاري (6994) من طريق ثابت البناني، ثلاثتهم عن أنس.

All three (Humayd, Ishaq and Thabit) narrate from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him).
بلفظ: "رؤيا المؤمن جزء من ستة وأربعين جزءًا من النبوة".
Details of the narration: With the wording: "The dream of the believer is one part of forty-six (46) parts of prophethood."
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih.
