It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever remembered Allah and his eyes overflowed with tears out of fear of Allah, so much that they reached the ground, Allah Almighty will not punish him on the Day of Resurrection."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: In the light of corroborations and supporting reports this chain is "hasan".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): It is (only) hasan on account of Abu Ja'far al-Razi, whose name is Isa bin Abi Isa Abd Allah bin Mahan. Another narrator of the chain, Ibrahim bin Sulayman, is "al-Zayyat al-Balkhi".
Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani narrated it in "al-Awsat" (1641, 6171) via Muhammad bin Sulayman al-Harrani, from Abu Ja'far al-Razi, with this same chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Tabarani says that Muhammad bin Sulayman al-Harrani is alone in narrating it from Abu Ja'far al-Razi.
Reference / Source: This narration was transmitted by al-Bukhari (al-Tarikh al-Kabir 4/ 231), Ibn Abi Asim (al-Jihad 147), Abu Ya'la (4346), Ibn Adi (al-Kamil 3/ 233), al-Tabarani (al-Awsat 5779), Abu Nu'aym (al-Hilyah 7/ 119) and al-Diya' al-Maqdisi (al-Mukhtarah 6/ 2198) via Shabib bin Bishr; also by al-Uqayli (al-Du'afa' 1897) via Hilal bin Abi Hilal, al-Quda'i (Musnad al-Shihab 321) via Khallad, and al-Khatib al-Baghdadi (Tarikh Baghdad 3/ 624) via Qatadah; all of them narrated these words from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) as marfu': "There are two eyes which the Fire will not touch: an eye that wept out of fear of Allah, and an eye that spent the night keeping guard in the path of Allah".
