جَدِّدُوا إِيمَانَكُمْ بِقَوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ .

Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7850

وقال رسول الله ﷺ: "جَدَّدُوا إيمانَكم" قيل: يا رسولَ الله، وكيف نُجدَّد إيمانَنا؟ قال: "أكثِرُوا من قولِ: لا إله إلَّا الله" (2).

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep renewing your faith." It was said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), how should we renew our faith? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say 'La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah)' abundantly."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

وأخرجه أحمد (14/ 8710) عن أبي داود الطيالسي، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (14/ 8710) narrated it from Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi, with this same chain.
