It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nubayshah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), in the Jahiliyyah we used to offer the 'atirah (a particular sacrifice) in the month of Rajab. What do you now command us?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Slaughter (a sacrifice) for Allah in any month, do good for the sake of Allah, and feed (people)."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, and they (the two Shaykhs) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and its chain is strong like the previous chain. Abu al-Malih is 'Amir bin Usamah bin 'Umayr al-Hudhali.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad 34/ (20723, 20727, 20729), Ibn Majah (3160) and al-Nasa'i (4541, 4542, 4543) narrated it by various routes from Khalid bin Mihran al-Hadhdha', with this same chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the first narration of al-Nasa'i, Khalid al-Hadhdha' sometimes said "from Abu al-Malih" and sometimes mentioned "Abu Qilabah from Nubayshah". In the third narration of Ahmad and the second narration of al-Nasa'i it is narrated as "Khalid from Abu Qilabah from Abu al-Malih", on which Khalid al-Hadhdha' said: I think I also heard it directly from Abu al-Malih.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (20726) and al-Nasa'i (4540) narrated it by way of 'Abd Allah bin 'Awn, from a narrator named "Jamil" whose lineage is not given, from Abu al-Malih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn 'Awn is the only one who narrates from this narrator Jamil, and Imam Ibn Hibban, after mentioning him in his book "al-Thiqat", wrote: "I do not know who he is, nor whose son he is."
Reference / Source: Imam Abu Dawud (2830) by way of Bishr bin al-Mufaddal, and Imam al-Nasa'i (4544) by way of Isma'il Ibn 'Ulayyah; both of them narrate from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Abu Qilabah ('Abd Allah bin Zayd al-Jarmi), from Abu al-Malih.
Details of the narration: In al-Nasa'i's narration there is the addition that (Abu Qilabah said): "Then I met Abu al-Malih and asked him, and he narrated this hadith to me from Nubayshah (may Allah be pleased with him)."
