It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the large sacrificial animals (camels and the like), these are not permissible: the one-eyed animal, the emaciated animal, the mangy animal, and the animal whose teats have been cut off (from the root)."
This hadith has an authentic chain (sahih al-isnad), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: The text here is established from manuscript (Z), as in the narrations of al-Tabarani, whereas manuscripts (S) and (M), and Ibn al-A'rabi, have the word "al-nadhr" (the vow).
Grading: Its chain is da'if (weak). Technical note / Defect ('illah): 'Ali bin 'Asim (Ibn Suhayb al-Wasiti) is alone in narrating this as marfu', and he is a weak narrator. Technical note / Defect ('illah): 'Ali bin 'Asim was contradicted in narrating this as marfu', as will be detailed later. Ibn Tawus is Abd Allah bin Tawus. Reference / Source: Ibn al-A'rabi narrated it in "al-Mu'jam" (620), and al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (10928) and "al-Awsat" (3578), via 'Ali bin 'Asim. Important point: Ibn al-A'rabi's narration adds that 'Ata' used to give fatwa according to it but did not narrate it as marfu'. Reference / Source: Ibrahim al-Harbi narrated it in "Gharib al-Hadith" (3/1198) from Ahmad bin Hanbal, from Waki' bin al-Jarrah, from Sufyan al-Thawri, from Abd Allah bin Abi Najih, from Tawus, from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) as mawquf. Important point: Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that an animal whose teats have all been cut off is not permissible (for sacrifice). Grading: Its chain is sahih. Note / Clarification: "Musarramah" was explained as an animal whose teats (udder) are cut off, so that it becomes sore, no milk comes out of it, and it dries up. Reference / Source: Ibn al-Athir wrote in "al-Nihayah": Note / Clarification: "al-mustalamah atba'uha" means an animal whose udders have been cut off. The singular of "al-atba'" is "tubi" (with a dammah or kasrah on the ta'). He explained it with "akhlaf", the plural of "khilf", which means udder.
