أخبرنا حمزة بن العباس العَقَبي، حَدَّثَنَا العباس بن محمد الدُّوري، حَدَّثَنَا إسحاق بن منصور السَّلُولي، حَدَّثَنَا إسرائيل، عن أبي يحيى القَتَّات، عن مجاهد، عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال: مرَّ على النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رجلٌ وعليه ثوبانِ أحمرانِ، فسلَّم فلم يردَّ عليه رسولُ الله ﷺ (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man wearing two red garments passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He gave the greeting of peace, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not return his greeting.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف لضعف أبي يحيى القتات. إسرائيل: هو ابن يونس السَّبيعي.
Grading: (1) Its chain is da'if (weak) because of the weakness of Abu Yahya al-Qattat.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Isra'il is "Ibn Yunus al-Sabi'i".
وأخرجه الترمذي (2807) عن عباس بن محمد الدوري، بهذا الإسناد. وقال: حديث حسن غريب من هذا الوجه.
Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Tirmidhi (2807) from Abbas bin Muhammad al-Duri, with this chain, and he said: This hadith is hasan gharib by this route.
وأخرجه أبو داود (4069) عن محمد بن حزابة، عن إسحاق بن منصور، به.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (4069) recorded it from Muhammad bin Hizabah, from Ishaq bin Mansur, with this chain.
Grading: (1) Its chain is da'if (weak) because of the weakness of Abu Yahya al-Qattat.
