حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن بُطَّة الأصبهاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن زكريا الأصبهاني، حدثنا مُحرِز بن سَلَمة العَدَني، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد، عن عبيد الله بن عمر، عن نافع: أن ابن عمر كان لا يؤذِّن في السفر ولا يقيمُ في شيءٍ من صلواتهِ (2).
It is narrated from Nafi' that while travelling, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would neither give the adhan nor call the iqamah for any of his prayers.

(2) شاذٌّ بهذا اللفظ، والمحفوظ عن ابن عمر كما سبق: أنه كان يقيم لكل صلواته في السفر ولا يؤذِّن إلّا في الصبح، وفي رواية عبد العزيز بن محمد الدراوردي عن عبيد الله بن عمر مناكير. Technical note / Defect ('illah): With this wording the narration is "shadh" (irregular). As has passed, what is preserved from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) is that in travel he would give only the iqamah for each prayer, and would give the adhan only for the morning (Fajr) prayer. Note / Clarification: The narrations of al-Darawardi from Ubayd Allah bin Umar contain munkar reports.
