It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three people will not enter Paradise: the one addicted to wine, the one who severs ties of kinship, and the one who believes in magic; and whoever dies addicted to wine, Allah will make him drink from 'Nahr al-Ghutah'." It was asked: What is 'Nahr al-Ghutah'? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is a river that flows from the private parts of fornicating women; the stench of their private parts will torment the people of the Fire."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" (weak) because of the weakness of Abu Hariz ('Abdullah bin al-Husayn al-Azdi). Note / Clarification: al-Fudayl is al-Fudayl bin Maysarah al-Azdi. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad recorded it 32/ (19569) and Ibn Hibban (5346) by way of 'Ali bin al-Madini, and Ibn Hibban (6137) by way of Muhammad bin Isma'il bin Abi Saminah; both of them from Mu'tamir bin Sulayman, with this chain. The narration of Ibn Abi Saminah is abridged. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is supported by the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) in Musnad Ahmad 17/ (11107), narrated as marfu': "Five kinds of people will not enter Paradise: the habitual drinker of wine, the one who believes in magic, the one who severs ties of kinship, the soothsayer (kahin) and the one who reminds others of his favours"; however, its chain has weakness. 11/ (6537). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The part about the habitual drinker of wine is supported by the next hadith of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and the hadith of 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) in Musnad Ahmad 11/ (6537).
