حدثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق إملاءً، حدثنا إسماعيل بن قُتيبة، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى. وأخبرني أحمد بن محمد بن صالح السَّمَرقندي، حدثنا محمد بن نصر، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى، أخبرنا خارجة، عن ثَور بن يزيد، عن راشد بن سعد، عن سَمُرة بن جُندب، أنَّ النبيَّ ﷺ قال: "إذا رَوَّيْتَ أهلَك من اللَّبن غَبُوقًا، فاجتنِبْ ما نهى اللهُ عنه من مَيْتَةٍ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه، وله أصلٌ بإسناد صحيح على شرط الشيخين:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are able to give your family their fill of milk in the evening, then avoid what Allah has forbidden, namely carrion."
This hadith has an authentic (sahih) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it, and it has a basis with an authentic chain on the condition of the two Shaykhs.

(1) إسناده ضعيف جدًّا، خارجة - وهو ابن مصعب الخراساني - متروك، ولم يتنبَّه لذلك الذهبيُّ في "تلخيصه".
Grading: Its chain is "extremely weak".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The narrator Kharijah bin Mus'ab al-Khurasani is "matruk" (abandoned), and Imam al-Dhahabi did not take note of this in the "Talkhis".
وأخرجه البيهقي 9/ 357 من طريق داود بن الحسين، عن يحيى بن يحيى، بهذا الإسناد. وفيه يقول ثور: عن راشد بن سعد وأعطاني كتابًا عن سمرة.
Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Bayhaqi 9/357 through the route of Dawud bin al-Husayn from Yahya bin Yahya, with this same chain.
Note / Clarification: In it Thawr (bin Yazid) says that he narrated from Rashid bin Sa'd, who gave me a book (written copy) of Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him).
وأخرج الطبراني في "الكبير" (7028) و (7046) من طريق جعفر بن سعد بن سمرة، عن خبيب بن سليمان بن سمرة، عند أبيه، عن جده سمرة، ضمن حديث طويل، وفيه: "إذا روَّيت أهلك غبوقًا من اللبن فاجتنب ما حُرِّم عليك من الطعام"، وفي سنده غير واحد ضعيف ومجهول.
Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (7028) and (7046) within a long hadith, through the route of Ja'far bin Sa'd bin Samurah, from Khubayb bin Sulayman bin Samurah, from Sulayman bin Samurah, from Samurah bin Jundub.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In its chain more than one narrator is weak and unknown.
وأخرج الطبري في "تفسيره" 6/ 87 من طريق ابن إسحاق، حدثني عمر بن عبد الله بن عروة، عن جدِّه عروة بن الزبير، عمَّن حدَّثه: أنَّ رجلًا من الأعراب أتى النبيَّ ﷺ، فذكر حديثًا ثم سأله الأعرابي: ما غنايَ الذي أدعُه إذا وجدته؟ فقال النبي ﷺ: "إذا أروَيتَ أهلك غَبوقًا من الليل، فاجتنِبْ ما حرَّم اللهُ عليك من طعام". وسنده ضعيف.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Tabari recorded it in his Tafsir 6/87 through the route of Ibn Ishaq, from 'Umar bin 'Abd Allah, from 'Urwah bin al-Zubayr, from an unnamed person.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" (weak) (because of the unnamed narrator).
