أخبَرنيهِ الحسين بن علي التميمي، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق، حدثنا محمد بن يحيى، حدثني إسحاق بن إبراهيم الحنظلي، فذكره (2). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. وإنما يُعرف من حديث ابن أبي ليلى وحماد بن شعيب عن أبي الزُّبير (3). وقد رُوي بإسناد صحيح عن أبي هريرة:
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. This narration is known only through Ibn Abi Layla and Hammad bin Shu'ayb from Abu al-Zubayr. And it has also been narrated with a sahih chain from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him):

(2) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف كسابقه. محمد بن إسحاق: هو ابن خُزَيمة، ومحمد بن يحيى: هو الذهلي، وشيخه إسحاق بن إبراهيم: هو ابن راهويه. Grading: It is "sahih li-ghayrihi", but this chain is weak like the previous chain. Note / Clarification: The narrators include Muhammad bin Ishaq (Ibn Khuzaymah) and Muhammad bin Yahya (al-Dhuhli). وأخرجه أبو داود (2828) عن محمد بن يحيى، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: It was narrated by Abu Dawud (2828) through the route of Muhammad bin Yahya with this same chain.
