It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no harm to a woman who stays between two neighbors from among the Ansar, or who is lodged with her parents."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: All its narrators are thiqah; however, Abu Hatim al-Razi in "al-'Ilal" declared it defective (ma'lul) on account of its being "mawquf" (a saying of the Companion).
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ahmad 43/ (26207), and likewise by al-Bazzar (52) and Ibn Hibban (7267) by way of Yahya bin Habib bin Arabi; both of them (Ahmad and Yahya) narrate it from Rawh bin Ubadah with this chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Abi Asim narrated it in "al-Ahad wa al-Mathani" (1817) with the chain Yahya bin Habib, from Rawh bin Ubadah, as a "mawquf" saying of Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and titled the chapter accordingly. In this way he contradicted the (marfu') narrations of al-Bazzar and Ibn Hibban.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Yahya bin Ma'in narrated it (as in "'Ilal al-Razi" (2580)) with the chain al-Sakan bin Isma'il, from Hisham bin Hassan, from Hisham bin Urwah, from Yahya bin Sa'id al-Ansari, from Aishah (as mawquf). Abu Hatim said: This narration has exposed the defect in the narration of Rawh bin Ubadah, and this (being mawquf) is correct. Had it been through Hisham's father (Urwah), it would have been easier for him to memorise (but it is narrated from Yahya bin Sa'id). Al-Daraqutni also mentioned in "al-'Ilal" (3830) the disagreement over Hisham bin Urwah.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Khalil bin Murrah and Salamah bin Sa'id narrated it with the chain Hisham, from his father, from Aishah, as mawquf, but this narration of both of them from Hisham is "ghayr mahfuz" (not preserved).
Reference / Source: Then he (al-Daraqutni) narrated it by way of Muhammad bin Harun (Abu Hamid) al-Hadrami, from Sulayman bin Umar al-Raqqi, from his father, from al-Khalil bin Murrah, from Hisham, from his father, as a saying of Aishah.
Details of the narration: In other places al-Hadrami narrated it to him from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (as marfu').
