أخبرنا الحسن بن حَليم المَرْوزي، حدثنا أبو المُوجِّه، حدثنا محمد بن عبد العزيز بن [أبي] (1) رِزْمة، حدثنا الفضل بن موسى، عن خُثَيم بن عِراك، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "غفارٌ غَفَرَ الله لها، وأسلمُ سالَمَها الله، أما إنِّي لم أقلْه ولكنَّ الله قالَه" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه بهذه الزيادة. وللزيادة شاهد آخرُ بإسنادٍ صحيح:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The tribe of Ghifar, Allah has forgiven it; and the tribe of Aslam, Allah has granted it safety. Know that I did not say this on my own; rather, Allah Almighty said it."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs did not record it with this addition. There is also another supporting narration (shahid) for this addition with a sahih chain.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): This text has dropped out of (is missing from) the manuscripts.
(2) إسناده صحيح. أبو الموجِّه: هو محمد بن عمرو الفزاري.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih".
Important point: Abu al-Muwajjih is "Muhammad bin Amr al-Fazari".
وأخرجه مسلم (2516) (185) عن حسين بن حريث، عن الفضل بن موسى، بهذا الإسناد. وفيه الزيادةُ التي نفاها المصنف: "أما إني لم أقلها ولكن قالها الله". فاستدراكه له ذهولٌ منه.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Muslim (2516) (185) with the chain Husayn bin Hurayth, from al-Fadl bin Musa, with this chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): It contains the addition that the author (al-Hakim) denied, namely: "Indeed, I did not say it; rather, Allah said it." Hence al-Hakim's including it in al-Mustadrak is an "oversight" (dhuhul) on his part.
وأخرجه البخاري (3514)، ومسلم (2515) من طريق محمد بن سِيرِين، وأحمد 16/ (10064)، ومسلم (2515) من طريق محمد بن زياد، وأحمد 15/ (9414)، والبخاري بإثر الحديث (1006)، ومسلم (2515) من طريق الأعرج، ثلاثتهم عن أبي هريرة، به دون الزيادة.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by al-Bukhari (3514) and Muslim (2515) by way of Muhammad bin Sirin; by Ahmad 16/ (10064) and Muslim (2515) by way of Muhammad bin Ziyad; and by Ahmad 15/ (9414), al-Bukhari (after hadith 1006) and Muslim (2515) by way of al-A'raj (Abd al-Rahman bin Hurmuz); all three narrate it from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) without the aforementioned addition.
