أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن إسماعيل بن مهران، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا محمد بن مُصفَّى، حدثنا بقيَّة، عن محمد بن زياد، عن أبي أمامة: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ مَشَى خلف جنازة ابنه إبراهيم حافيًا (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) walked barefoot behind the funeral of his son Ibrahim.

(1) إسناده ضعيف بمرّةٍ، بقية - وهو ابن الوليد - ليس بذاك القوي، وهو أيضًا مدلس، وقد عنعنه. محمد بن زياد هو الألهاني. ولم نقف عليه عند غير المصنف.
Grading: Its chain is utterly weak (da'if bi-marrah).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Baqiyyah (bin al-Walid) is not a strong narrator; he is also a "mudallis", and here he narrated it with "'an" ('an'anah, without stating that he heard it directly). Muhammad bin Ziyad is "al-Alhani". We have not found it with anyone other than the author (al-Hakim).
