أخبرني أبو الحسين بن (2) يعقوب الحافظ ﵀، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق الثَّقفي، حدثنا أبو الأشعث، حدثنا زهير بن العلاء، حدثنا سعيد بن أبي عَروبة، عن قَتَادة قال: ثم تزوَّج رسول الله ﷺ زينب بنت خزيمة، وهي أم المساكين، من بني عامر بن صَعْصَعة، وكانت قبله عند الطُّفيل بن الحارث، فتوفيت عند النَّبيِّ ﷺ، ولم تلبَثْ عندَه إلَّا يسيرًا (3). ذكرُ العاليَةِ

It is narrated from Qatadah that then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Zaynab bint Khuzaymah. She was Umm al-Masakin, "the Mother of the Poor", and she belonged to Banu Amir bin Sa'sa'ah. Before him (peace and blessings be upon him) she had been married to al-Tufayl bin al-Harith. She passed away during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and she remained with him (peace and blessings be upon him) for only a short while.

(2) لفظة "ابن" سقطت من "م" و (ص). وأبو الحسين بن يعقوب: هو محمد بن محمد بن يعقوب الحجَّاجي النيسابوري.
Note / Clarification: The word "Ibn" has dropped out of manuscripts (M) and (S).
Important point: Abu al-Husayn bin Ya'qub is Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ya'qub al-Hajjaji al-Naysaburi.
(3) إسناده ضعيف من أجل زهير بن العلاء، وهو بمعنى سابقه. أبو الأشعث هو أحمد بن المقدام بن سليمان بن الأشعث.
Grading: This chain is "da'if" because of Zuhayr bin al-'Ala', and it has the same meaning as the previous narration.
Important point: Abu al-Ash'ath is Ahmad bin al-Miqdam bin Sulayman bin al-Ash'ath.
Note / Clarification: The word "Ibn" has dropped out of manuscripts (M) and (S).
Important point: Abu al-Husayn bin Ya'qub is Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ya'qub al-Hajjaji al-Naysaburi.
