أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الأصبهانيّ، حدّثنا الحسن بن الجَهْم، حدّثنا الحسين بن الفَرَج، حدّثنا محمد بن عمر، حدّثنا عبد الرحمن بن عبد العزيز، عن الزُّهريّ قال: جهَّز النجاشيُّ أمُّ حبيبة إلى رسولِ الله ﷺ، وبعث بها معَ شُرَحْبيل بن حَسَنة (4).
It is narrated from Imam al-Zuhri that he said: The Negus prepared the bridal provisions of Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) and sent her to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with Shurahbil bin Hasanah (may Allah be pleased with him).
