Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6914

It is narrated from Muhammad bin Umar that the name of Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) was Hind bint Abi Umayyah, and the name of Abu Umayyah was Suhayl bin al-Mughirah bin Abdullah bin Umar bin Makhzum. Her mother was Atikah bint Amir bin Rabi'ah bin Malik bin Jadhimah bin Alqamah bin Firas bin Ghanm bin Malik bin Kinanah. Abu Salamah Abdullah bin Abd al-Asad bin Hilal married her and made both emigrations to the land of Abyssinia with her. There Zaynab was born to them, and after that Salamah, Umar and Durrah were born among the children of Abu Salamah.
