فحدَّثني أبو عبد الله الأصبهاني، حَدَّثَنَا الحسن بن الجَهْم، حَدَّثَنَا الحسين بن الفَرَج، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن عمر، أنَّ أسامة بن زيد بن أسلم حدثه عن أبيه، عن جده، عن عمر قال: وُلدت حفصةُ وقريشٌ تبني البيتَ قبل مبعثِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بخمس سنين (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) was born when Quraysh were building the House of Allah (the Ka'bah), and that was five years before the Prophethood of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

(1) إسناده ضعيف من أجل أسامة بن زيد، وسبق الكلام على إسناده إلى محمد بن عمر الواقدي عند الحديث السالف برقم (4060).
Grading: (1) This chain is "da'if" on account of Usamah bin Zayd. The discussion of its chain up to Muhammad bin Umar al-Waqidi has already passed under the previous hadith number (4060).
وأخرجه ابن سعد في الطبقات" 10/ 80، والطبري في "تاريخه" 11/ 603 من طريق محمد بن عمر الواقدي، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ibn Sa'd in "al-Tabaqat" (10/ 80) and al-Tabari in his "Tarikh" (11/ 603) via Muhammad bin Umar al-Waqidi, with this chain.
