أخبرنا أبو جعفر البغدادي، حدثنا أبو عُلاثة، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة، حدثنا أبو الأسود، عن عُرْوة، في تسمية من استُشْهِدَ يومَ أُحد مع رسولِ الله ﷺ من بني أُمية: عبدُ الله بن جَحْش حليفٌ لهم، وهو من بني أسد بن خُزيمة. ذكرُ ابنه محمدِ بن عبد الله بن جَحْش ﵁-
It is narrated from Urwah that among the names of those from Banu Umayyah who were martyred with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Uhud is also the name of Abdullah bin Jahsh, who was their ally and belonged to Banu Asad bin Khuzaymah.
