Mustadrak al-Hakim 6800 — Virtues of Uwaym bin Sa'idah

It is narrated from Ibn Ishaq that among those who took part in the Battle of Badr and the Pledge of Aqabah is Uwaym bin Sa'idah bin Abis bin Qays bin al-Nu'man bin Zayd bin Umayyah bin Zayd bin Malik al-Ansari. He belonged to Banu Umayyah bin Zayd; it is said that he was an ally of Banu Amr bin Awf, and according to some he was originally one of them.
