It is narrated from Khalifah bin Khayyat that: Suraqah bin Malik bin Ju'shum was from Banu Mudlij bin Murrah bin Abd Manah bin Ali bin Kinanah. And Muhammad bin Umar (al-Waqidi) said that Suraqah bin Malik lived in Qudayd and died in the year 24 AH.
